This is one of the busiest times of the year for everyone, but this should not be an excuse to skip workouts and “start up again in January”. No one wants to pack on those “holiday pounds”, because that just makes it that much more difficult when wanting to reach your goals in January. Why not try your best to find at least 30 minutes per day (or worst case scenario 5 days per week) to be active? This doesn’t have to mean going to the gym or working up a crazy sweat, it could mean going for a walk with family or even doing some strength exercises in your living room before you shower in the morning.
Have no fear I am here to help you out! These are 3 exercises you can do to hit every muscle in your body and all you need is a medicine ball!! If you don’t have a medicine ball you can use a milk jug or even a big bag of rice if that’s all you have!
Here is the quick little program:
Perform one set of each exercise in the circuit, and then once you have completed all three exercises, return to the top and repeat the circuit 3-5 more times (depending on time available)
1. Medicine Ball Swings x 30 seconds
2. Split Stance One Arm Row x 30 Seconds per arm
3. Mountain Climber with a Stall x 30 Seconds (Add a push Up After Each Stall to Increase Difficulty)
Give it a try, it wont take long, and you will feel great after!!
