Robin Day is a busy, working mom who is a fitness lover and enthusiast. Robin completed her Bachelor of Science Degree at SFU in Kinesiolo
gy in 1998. At that time, she was mostly interested in rehabilitation, and did not develop a keen interest in fitness and teaching until much later. After her degree, Robin went on to complete diplomas in Medical Radiography and Diagnostic Sonography, and currently works in a Medical Imaging Department.
Growing up, Robin was active, competing mainly in soccer and basketball. She continued to play soccer into adulthood. It was a right knee injury that lead her down a different path to fitness and health. In 2008, she began working out
regularly, trying out various classes and bootcamps.
Fast forward a few years… after her first child, Robin began to train 1 on 1 with Michelle Roots. Michelle inspired Robin to be better, work harder and challenge herself. She found true joy in the gym. In 2013 Michelle offered Robin the opportunity to teach. She ran with it! Robin completed the BCRPA Fitness Theory Course, Group Fitness Course and successfully completed her instructor competency exam in 2015. She is currently completing her Level 1 Sports Strength and Conditioning module with Twist Conditioning.
She is always willing to keep learning and strives to challenge her soldiers each day. There is nothing she enjoys more than seeing red faces and people rising to the challenge of taking better care of themselves!
