Michelle’s Favorite Green Machine Protein Shake!

Ok all of my clients and followers on social media are always asking me what I put in my protein shakes, well it’s your lucky day!

This is my favorite protein shake recipe.  If you like yummy tasting, thick, creamy, and extremely healthy protein shakes, well you will want to make this!

Here you go:

Ingredients:SHAKE

  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seed
  • 1/2 – 1 scoop chocolate (or vanilla) protein powder
  • 1 tsp stevia (optional if you like it sweet)
  • 1/3 cup frozen blueberries
  • 2 big handfuls of spinach
  • ice cubes
  • unsweetened almond milk
  • water
  • 1-2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  • Put all ingredients in a blender & blend! (I know it’s not rocket science! lol)
  • OK Ok, this is exactly how I do it: add in banana & avocado first, then add in about 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk, then add in protein powder, ground flax seed, stevia, blueberries, cinnamon, spinach.  Then on top of the spinach throw in a bout 3-4 ice cubes and add a little bit of water.  Blend this all up for about 20-30 seconds (I use magic bullet), then add 1-2 more ice cubes and a bit more water if necessary for a thick creamy texture, then blend again & you are good to go!!!
  • I like to eat mine with a spoon if it’s really thick, or let it sit for a few mins and it will melt a little so you can straw it 🙂
