Low Cal Greens and Berries Protein Shake

If you have been reading my blogs for a while now, you know I love a good post-workouts protein shake!

Sometimes I don’t want a heavy shake or dependent on my macros for a certain day I do not want to add too many ingredients to my shake, as it would be meant for a workout recovery nutritional snack instead of a full meal.  When I am feeling this way, this is my go-to protein shake recipe.

It is so good I had to share it with you all!

Ingredients:IMG_9800

  • 1/2 Cup Unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 scoop protein powder (I use Quest Peanut Butter Protein Powder, but have also made this shake with Chocolate and Vanilla too!)
  • 1/2 Cup Frozen Blueberries (throw in some raspberries or strawberries if you want)
  • 1 tsp stevia
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seed
  • 1/2 Cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 2-3 big handfuls of spinach
  • Ice until desired consistency

Throw it all in a blender, mix it up, and enjoy!!
